What do Pete Sampras and Andy Roddick have in common? A lot. The two Americans are former Grand Slam champions, former No. 1s, both posses among the biggest serves ever in the game and they are happily married to beautiful wives. And coincidence or not (or maybe just a sign of the economy/housing market), they both put their houses up for sale in the last week! ADHEREL

For $4 million bucks you can grab Roddick’s Lake House in Austin. The 5,558 square foot, 4-bedder comes with a poker room, workout area, pool room, boat dock and many other amenities and bonuses. You’ll have to supply the trophies and you don’t get Brooklyn. Roddick and wife Brooklyn Decker do plan to remain in the Austin area.

What does 13 more Grand Slam titles get you? A far more expansive and more expensive house, that’s what. Sampras and wife Bridgette Wilson has just listed their Los Angeles Lake Sherwood “compound” for a $25 million. The 13,000 square foot mansion rests on 20 acres. Among it’s many attractions are a tennis court (imagine?), swimming pool, game room, theatre room plus a 1,200 sq/ft guest house and a crackin 2,000 sq/ft gym in addition to seven bedrooms and 11.5 baths.

Tennis sure pays. I need to go practice my serve.
