No, Kim Clijsters is Not Pregnant [Video]

The post match interview hi-jinx continued on Rod Laver Arena earlier today. Last night Jim Courier had a go with Roger Federer during his on court Q&A, today it was former doubles great Todd Woodbridge leaving slightly embarrassed.

As the story goes Woodbridge had sent a text to Rennae Stubbs a week ago wondering if Clijsters was pregnant. But on court with the World watching Clijsters put Woodbridge on the spot asking the Australian about the message!

Here’s the exchange and video below:

Clijsters: “Rennae Stubbs showed me a text message that you wrote to her about me in Sydney.”

Woodbridge: “What did I say?”

Clijsters: “You thought I was pregnant.”

Woodbridge: (embarassed!)

Woodbridge: “Well I guess I got to ask, are you?”

Clijsters: “No, I’m not!”

Clijsters: “Let me say what was written in the message: ‘She looks really grumpy and her boobs are bigger’.”

Woodbridge: “Oh my goodness!”

Woodbridge: “Well, that’s the end of my TV career. Thank you very much.”

Clijsters addressed the interview in the presser saying, “I’m obviously very close with Rennae Stubbs. Yesterday after one of my practices, we were sitting around, talking, laughing away. We were talking about like babies, having a second one. All of a sudden she goes, Yeah, Todd last week in Sydney wrote me a message during your match saying that he already thought you were pregnant. I was like, Oh, really? And then she showed me. So I walk out there, it’s like, Okay, I’m going to get him back now.”
