Djokovic Walks Over Wawrinka for ATP Vienna Title
Posted on October 14, 2007Top-seeded Novak Djokovic overwhelmed unseeded Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka 6-4, 6-0 Sunday in the final of the BA-CA Tennis Trophy at Vienna, Austria, for his fifth title of the year.
"Great to win another title," Djokovic said. "I was good in the first set, but I played some incredible tennis in the second."
Djokovic saved a break point while serving at 5-4 in the first, then didn't drop another game, losing only four points in the second set.
It was the seventh final of the year for the hot-handed Serb, who lost at Indian Wells and the US Open to world No. 1 Roger Federer.
