Roger Federer Has A New Mercedes Benz Commercial, And His Kids Speak English!

by Tom Gainey | August 16th, 2012, 1:13 pm

Roger Federer is featured in a new TV spot from luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz. In the campaign Federer is labeled an “International Celebrity”, “Tennis Idol” and finally just a plain old “Dad” as he climbs into his GL SUV.

“It’s a monkey, daddy,” a child voices after throwing at stuffed animal at the World No. 1. Surely not one of Federer’s twin girls; this is a USA commercial after all.

Federer plays later today at the Cincinnati Masters 1000 against Bernard Tomic.

skeezer Says:

Fed, all class, family and all. U da man! Thanks for being the best model for Tennis ever, GOAT.

Saba Says:

The girls might be able to speak some English but they’ll grow up speaking Swiss German because that’s the lang the Federer family basically speaks.

Gaga Says:

So cute….

Sienna Says:

To even think those are the real twins is absurd.
He is the worlds worst actor but he fooled you guys.

RZ Says:

We all know those aren’t his real kids, but I think it’s funny that they didn’t even use child actors with blonde hair like his daughters’. Still, it’s a cute ad.

alison Says:

Nice advert very classy very elegant ,theres something about a man in a suit, i very much doubt that Roger even cares if hes the worlds worst actor, hes the worlds greatest ever tennis player, end of story.

Polo Says:

Roger looked really good and classy that is why he is perfect for big classy products like Mercedes Benz and Rolex. Thank God he is not actor, otherwise, he could be playing James Bond instead of tennis.

Sienna Says:

its just bussiness branding. I like him more for playing tennis, being a dad and getting projects out for kids in Africa.

I understand he needs the big dollars and airplay to keep his brand alive. But if it is gonna become a Beckam status then I am off to other things.

I’m sure that that wont happen. And I look forwardto every match the guy plays but portraying youre family in cimmerciaol is I feel the edge he should not get over that edge.

David Says:

They’re Swiss kids. They’ll probably speak six languages. And obviously English will be one of them.

Ken B Says:

Does anyone know what brand the grey shirt
(jacket) is in the commercial?

V Says:

That gray cardigan is really nice…if anyone knows the brand of the sweater, please let us know
