While walking the grounds at Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic was mobbed as usual by fans looking for autographs and more. One girl was extra emotional and after getting an autograph, a selfie and a hug she completely broke down, shaking in tears.

Djokovic won his match later beating Gilles Simon in three sets. He’ll play Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the fourth round on Monday.

Josh Says:

wow. this girl needs to get a grip.

Patson Says:

Hahahah this is hilarious ! Wonder what Nole would’ve been thinking at that moment: “Woooo did i do something wrong here ?”

queen Says:

Geez silly little girls

kishore Says:

I felt sad for the others who dint get the autograph because they dint cry. There is a reason for the quote “only cryings babies are fed”.

Colin Says:

“Needs to get a grip”
“Silly little girls”

Come on, people, she’s a CHILD.

Look at film of early Beatles concerts, and you’ll see much older girls being completely hysterical.

jane Says:

precisely, colin. thanks.

Michael Says:

Novak is always the man with a kind heart and a gentle sportsperson. He is a rarity in today’s sport who applauds his opponents shots and also overturn even an Umpire’s or Linesman call in favour of his opponent if he thinks there is merit in it. The one other player I saw this rare quality was with Wilander and today Novak is following his foot steps. I wish him all the very best !!

Margot Says:

@Michael
Another gr8 post!

Colin Says:

Hasn’t Andy given away points a couple of times this year? One instance was against Stepanek at Queen’s, I think.

jane Says:

awww, michael. you made me smile. :)

JakeJ Says:

I’ll take this over a jaded cool kid any day.

Got a kick out of it.

`Hasn’t Andy given away points a couple of times this year?`
@cloin

Just recently at RG.
Twice in fact.
Courior disagreed as it was not in the rules for him to do so as they were his.

calmdownplease Says:

@colin hehe

calmdownplease Says:

But I think the little girl should calm down,
please.
Novak is not the Bieber is he?
Thank goodness!

Nirmal Kumar Says:

Fantastic player and a great ambassador for the game. Today’s top 4 (Roger, Nadal, Novak, Murray) are so good on and off the court, it would be really difficult to replace them, not just for their talent and accomplishment on the court, but also for their impeccable attitude off the court as well.

It’s a pleasure to be a fan of these guys and in general a tennis fan when these guys are top players.

Tennis Fan Says:

Novak just wanted to see himself in another picture …

jane Says:

agreed nirmal kumar.

and yes, both andy and nole conceded points at the french open this year.

but i get colin’s joke, and yes indeed; both andy and nole “gave” stepanek other points at queen’s and wimbledon. novak should’ve won in 3 and not blown his lead in the 3rd set tiebreak, and andy should have closed out set 1, in what was it? 8 tries!

stepanek is persistent, but in both cases he had a little help. :)
