My friend’s wife is malasyan…
his family is of Chinese culture, I know they live with Malaysian communities of Muslim culture, and I understand that on average the latter have lower purchasing power.

In Kuala Lumpur there must be large shopping centers

The seasons are different than in Europe, there are some that I do not know if it is monsoon, but it is humid and very hot.
My friend learned that there, when they leave their clothes to dry on the clothesline, they leave it on hangers, or something like that, and so they do not have to iron :) (now my friend does the same here).

it’s all I know 😬

Margot Says:

Hi Una :) Your mum doesn’t really talk about Malaysian culture on here. The only thing she really talks about is Malaysian food, especially the curries. In fact the only time I’ve seen her really annoyed on here was when Greg Wallace, a TV PERSONALITY and sometime chef, criticised someone on his show because her Chicken Rendang did not have crispy skin! Your mother went wild!
Apart from that I know Malaysia is a very diverse country culturally, most people are Muslims, English is the 2nd language. Things like health care and education can vary from state to state. Environmentally things look a bit grim with pollution and whole scale logging.
But your climate, your people and your food are simply wonderful!

gonzalowski Says:

my friend’s wife (Say Chin) took us once peanuts’ cookies, delicious!

AndyMira Says:

Oh!Thank u Gonza for your input!…Haha..Yeah!..The weather is really hot & humid…Sometimes i met with the tourist from the Western..and they just wear a sleeveless T & short…But,it’ll be a paradise for u guys who loves shopping bcoz our currency is very low…and the shopping complex r everywhere!

gonzalowski Says:

I’d to love to go!, now it’s really far for us

gonzalowski Says:

About pollution…Yeah,i admit sometimes it happened uncontrollable…but,if our own farmers who start the fire..it’s easy to take an action…but, the problem is..the fire were start by the farmers from Indonesia…In 2005,they deliberately burned their field hundred thousands of acres..and it caused the worst pollution in our country & other neighbours for a week!…I can’t even see my neighbours house that were situated only 100 meters from my house!..But,it not happen for 3 or 4 years now…So,Thank God!Hehe…

Oh!…U already eat Malaysian food M?…And how do u know that Malaysian r simply wonderful!?…Or u just said that simply for Una’s assignment?Hahaha….Sorry M!….Just teasing u!!Hehe…

AndyMira Says:

Hey M!…thank u Boss!…Pollution?Yeah! That too!…But,believe me M!…As important the pollution are to us,there’s an immediate issues that need to address & settle first…such as GST[some stupid tax],reduced oil price[for peoples] & many more! This is the PH[opposition]manifest for GE14…

http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/category/nation/2018/03/09/ph-launches-manifesto-10-promises-in-100-days/

Hopefully, they will do what they’re promised…coz we can’t take anymore abuse from the leaders anymore! It’s so painful to swallow….

gonzalowski Says:

Margot, it’s just it makes me nervous that they want to break Spain, and above all to make it illegally, jumping above the Constitution (our laws).
Because, you can make it, but first you have to get approved (by voting) in the Parlament a change with which it’s possible to vote to split the country.
So it’s possible (not like in Germany, that it’s directly against law) but following the law.
Catalan nationatists try to jump over all it, and too they want to appear as victims.
