At the ABN Amro Open in Rotterdam, first round play concluded with a slew of upsets.

De Minaur improves to 3-20 against Top 5 players. He has also now won three of four tour-level head-to-head meetings when facing Rublev.
“It was a hell of a match,” De Minaur said to the ATP. “I think I had the right mindset. I knew I had to be aggressive and take it to him, and really believe in myself. I’ve been practicing great. I’ve been doing exactly what I did today on the practice court. So it was great to see it all come alive.”
