2025 Australian Open Day 7: Sinner, De Minaur, Swiatek v Raducanu

There are just sixteen more spots remaining in the Australian Open fourth round.

A bright, big middle Sunday opens with US Open champions Iga Swiatek facing Emma Raducanu. They are close in age but miles apart on court.

“When we’re going to be out there on the court, whoever is going to play better will win, and that’s it,” Swiatek said . “For sure we have different stories, but before the match, I’m not going to really think about that. I’ll just prepare based on how she plays now.”

Former finalist Elena Rybakina is in action against 2024 semifinalist Dayana Yastremska. Rybakina has cruised over the top two girls’ juniors.

Tonight, in an all-American clash the brash villian Danielle Collins faces Madison Keys.

Jasmine Paolini faces Elina Svitolina and Emma Navarro is in action.

For the men, Jannik Sinner is back and should have another easy day against Marcos Giron. Taylor Fritz takes on Gael Monfils who at age 38 is having a rebirth.

Ben Shelton and Lorenzo Musetti meet for a second time nad Holger Rune and the last Australian left Alex de Minaur are in action.
