Rafael Nadal: I Won’t Be 100% In Rio
Rafael Nadal admitted earlier today that he won’t be 100% 100% in Rio next month.
Nadal, who hasn’t played since injuring his left wrist at the French Open, says he’s making progress and still hopes to play in all three events.
“I hope each day to go (progress) a little bit more and arrive in Rio well prepared, although as I always say there is nothing certain in this life,” Nadal told Reuters during an event in Mallorca today. “I feel fine, working and undergoing the recovery process. The time schedule is correct, there are two and a half weeks to go before we start to compete.”
Andy Murray is also training in Mallorca, but the Spaniard isn’t quite ready to join Murray on the practice courts.

The Olympics in Rio begin in just over two weeks. Nadal will be the flagbearer for Spain.
