Pro Tennis Events: Community, Philanthropy and an Animated Skeleton
I think it is important to shed light on the effort that under girds these events and makes a sport we all enjoy possible. Tennis tournaments also provide an opportunity to appreciate the brilliant eccentricities of human behavior (I don’t just mean the guy juggling while walking on stilts at Cincinnati either).

Federer Pulls from Halle, Nadal Iffy Entering Wimbledon
“It is hard for me to admit, but I simply cannot imagine giving my best effort in another tournament right away and I don’t want to risk injury if I am not 100 percent prepared. I need to rest and recuperate,” Federer said.

Tennis Notes: Garrison Suing USTA, Paying to Watch on Internet
Here’s a potential bell-ringer for your next executive meeting — tennis fans are changing the way they view the sport (on the internet) because YOU GUYS AREN’T SUCCESSFULLY GETTING TENNIS ON TV. We have a Tennis Channel, but it is mostly reruns and canned shows.

Tennis-X Notes: Federer Readies for Sampras; Gilbert Sacked, Connors Next?
The three-stop Asian exhibition series between Roger Federer and Pete Sampras begins Tuesday in Seoul. The money grab continues Thursday in Kuala Lumpur before wrapping up in Macau on Saturday.
