2024 Wimbledon Odds – Men, Women
Arguably the biggest tennis event on the planet, the championships at Wimbledon, begin on July 1 in SW19.
This year’s event is a little different with the Olympics on the red clay at Roland Garros just around the corner. So players might not be as focused on the grass as they normally are.
Who Are The Men’s Betting Favorites?
The tour shift is here as we saw Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz take the first two Grand Slams of the season, and now Alcaraz is faced with his first Wimbledon title defense.
The only other contender seems to be seven-time champion Novak Djokovic who continues his return from knee surgery. Will he be able to play? That remains to be seen.
After Djokovic, it’s Alexander Zverev and Hubert Hurkacz. Perhaps Taylor Fritz can make a run and Daniil Medvedev.
Who Are The Women’s Betting Favorites?
Iga Swiatek is the clear world No. 1 but on grass the Polish star hasn’t impressed. And the last six Wimbledons there have been six different champions, and 2024 figures to follow.
Aryna Sabalenka figures to be a good pick and then Coco Gauff and former champion Elena Rybakina. Ons Jabeur, a finalist the last two years, might make another run as could defending champion Marketa Vondrousova and Naomi Osaka.
The tournament begins on Monday, July 1.

How Do You Read Wimbledon Odds?
Understanding sports odds in general can be a dauting challenge for many fans. For tennis odds, when there is a plus sign (+), that indicates how much money you would win putting $100 down. When there is a minus sign (-), that means you have to put that much down to win $100.
So at the Wimbledon, if Carlos Alcaraz is +150, that means if you bet $100, if he won again you would get back $250 ($100 for your bet plus the $150 in winnings). If Iga Swiatek was -250 to win the Wimbledon, and you put $250 down, if Swiatek won the title you would get back $350 ($250 in your initial bet plus $100 for the win).
When reading fractional odds -- let's say Novak Djokovic is 5/2 -- the first number (in this case 5) is the profit and the second number (in this case 2) is what you need to put down to get that. So if you put $2 down on Djokovic, you would get back $7 in total if he won ($2 is your bet plus the $5 for winning).
Now if Aryna Sabalenka was 2/7, if you put $7 down and she won you would get back $9 ($7 your initial bet plus $2 for the win).
