Davydenko, Fish, Ljubicic Hype Hypo at ATP Portschach

The Hypo Group Tennis International 2008, the final week before the French Open kicks off this week in Portschach, Austria, running concurrently with the ATP World Team Championship in Dusseldorf which does not award ATP points.

Russian Nikolay Davydenko, a winner at the event in 2005-06, is in search of his first claycourt title of the 2008 campaign.

Also seeded are defending champ Juan Monaco, Ivan Ljubicic who has a struggling 10-9 win-loss in 2008, Mardy Fish who makes his Austrian debut this week while the rest of the U.S. Davis Cup team competes in Dusseldorf, American Sam Querrey who lost first round last year, Italian Andreas Seppi who was a semifinalist last week in Hamburg, Croat Mario Ancic 3-2, and Dutchman Robin Haase who makes his tournament debut.

In last year's final the unseeded Monaco topped unseeded wildcard Gael Monfils 7-6(3), 6-0.
