Roger Federer Warms Up for Portugal by Hitting in the Streets [Video]
Ahead of his Davis Cup Group I match, Roger Federer was all smiles in the streets of Bern, Switzerland Wednesday promoting the upcoming tie with Portugal by meeting his fans, signing autographs and posed for photos.
Federer even thrilled the thousands of fans by hitting a “tweener” during a special street exo with teammate Marco Chiudinelli at Parliament Square.
Federer and his Swiss team will host Portugal this weekend at the Postfinance Arena in Bern. The former No. 1 will play Rui Machado tomorrow in the second rubber. Federer last played Davis Cup in a 3-2 win over Italy in 2009.
Stanislas Wawrinka opens the tie against Frederico Gil.
