After one of his best weeks as a pro, Roger Federer got chided by one of his daughter’s when the Swiss went to celebrate his 76, 63 win over Novak Djokovic with his family and friends in Cincinnati.
During the visit, one of Federer’s twin daughters – either Charlene Riva or Myla Rose – could be heard telling Roger, “Papa. Papa! You need a hat.”
How cute!
And Federer explained why he made the visit, “I just saw the girls and my wife and my coach and I just like, Well, it’s a short stroll. Let’s quickly go over there and high five and see everybody when it’s still, how do you say, still hot, you know, when it’s all happening. That was the reasoning, because the player box was very convenient.”
Federer won his 7th career Cincinnati title without losing a set or losing serve, beating main rivals Andy Murray and Djokovic this weekend.
The 34-year-old returns to No. 2 in the rankings as he heads to the US Open.
