The ATP held a special year-end gala auction last night in London. Held at Battersea Power Station, the event raised more than $630,000 for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity.

Among those in attendance were… well just about everybody.

All the top eight men made appearances including tournament favorites Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Roger Federer along with the top doubles teams.

“I’m very happy to be here tonight, and I’m proud to qualify for the season-ending event for a 10th time,” said Federer. “We have a great group of players this year and it’s fantastic to have this launch party. It’s something new and it’s for a great cause. It’s very nice to see that the ATP and the players have come together to support charity tonight.”

Patients from Great Ormond Street Hospital will be special guests at the 2011 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals at The O2, and will get to meet their tennis heroes.

The ATP World Tour Finals begin on Sunday.

They are all looking so classy in their suits. Let the tennis begin!

Wheeler Says:

Roger’s full of it. Still manages to slip in everywhere that he’s qualified for the 10th year in a row. Yes WE KNOW THAT. It doesn’t have to be mentioned every time you get to speak on the mic. The more he tries to push this hard, the more arrogant he appears.

Fot Says:

Wheeler – I guess the players don’t agree with you since I see Roger has been awarded the “Sportsmanship” award – voted on by the players, I might add. AGAIN…. lol!
