Nick Kyrgios’s great week in Madrid came to an end today as lost to Kei Nishikori in the quarterfinals. But in defeat, the Australian hit the shot of the tournament and one of the best of the season with this perfect tweener lob:

The shot helped Kyrgios take the first set but it wasn’t enough as Nishikori battled back to win 67(6), 76(1), 63.
