It was the first title for the 22-year-old Radwanska since Eastbourne in 2008. Zvonareva fell to 12-17 in career finals, and snapped a nine-match winning streak after winning the Baku title two weeks ago.

Federer on Harrison Slight, Davis Cup, Turning 30
“The only reason why I kind of heard about it was because Ryan wrote an apology to my manager to me saying he was misquoted. I like Ryan as a guy, as a player, as a kid. Everything gets blown out of proportion. I think that’s his opinion. At the end of the day it doesn’t matter much to me because I know what I need to do to beat those guys. He didn’t even need to write me a letter, but he did. So that was very nice of him.”

Fish Steals Atlanta Title; Weekend Wrap, X-Notes
An exhausted Isner, apparently also suffering abdominal cramps, served in the tiebreak at 6-4 before Fish won four straight points to force the third set. In the third the withering Isner, broken early on serve and out of gas, had no chance.
